Now you have gone, beloved Bluna von den Linzer Wuschelherzen

I always knew this day would come.
And yet… when it finally arrived, it felt as if the world held its breath for a moment.

Bluna is gone.
Our strong Bluna.
Our leader, our older sister, the heart of our pack.

For four precious years, I was allowed to walk beside her—learning, growing, discovering what it truly means to belong to a pack. Four years in which she guided me with patience, corrected me gently, and showed me that real strength doesn’t shout. Real strength is calm.
Steady.
Wise.

Bluna led our family for fifteen years and three months. For the first eleven years, it was just her and her sister Amy. Two souls bound together, carrying the weight of the pack with quiet devotion. And then, on February 12th, 2021, everything changed when we arrived: I, Zoë vom Donauvillino, and my sister Zelenia vom Donauvillino – Leni.

We entered Bluna’s world like wild wind. And Bluna… she accepted us. Instantly. Without hesitation. With that warm, grounded dignity only true leaders possess.

Later, two more little sparks joined our family: Filomeno vom Donauvillino – Filo – and Amara vom Moseldorfschloss.
And again, it was Bluna who held us all together, giving each of us a place, giving us order and safety.

But with time, I began to sense a shift. Bluna slowly, quietly, and with deep grace passed the leadership to me.
Not through force.
Not through dominance.
But through trust.
A trust so deep that it sat gently in my heart.

And then came October 29th, 2025 — the day Bluna crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

She was allowed to leave this world exactly as she deserved:
With dignity. With respect. With love.

Our human was with her to the very last breath, the very last look.
Held her.
Carried her.
Walked the final path beside her.
No dog could ever wish for more.

FFor me, it feels as if a piece of our world has quietly closed a door.
But Bluna left footprints that no rain, no wind, no passing of time will ever erase.

I will carry her steps forward.
I will lead our pack the best I can.
Just as she taught me.

Bluna, you were our light.
Our strength.
Our home.

Run free now, my beautiful elder.
Across endless meadows, through warm winds, into peace.
We will never forget you —
and your place among us will remain forever.
