Elbglacis Davino Visiting his offspring 🐾

On a warm, golden day, when the sun bathed the meadow in soft light and the scent of grass and summer filled the air, something truly special happened.

I, Zoë, remember it so clearly.

Little paws of Akia, Amara, and Anco-Filou danced across the meadow, their eyes full of curiosity, their hearts full of life. They were so young, so carefree – a part of me, but also… a part of him.

And then, he came.

Davino.

Quiet, dignified, yet carrying a gentleness that changed everything in an instant. It felt as if the wind itself paused for a moment. I looked at him—and in that glance was so much: trust, connection… and something beyond words.

Slowly, he approached.

No rush.

No urgency.

Only love.

He lowered himself toward his children, carefully, almost reverently. His nose touched their soft fur, a quiet, tender sniff—as if he were greeting each of them, as if to say: “I am here… I know you… you belong to me.”

For a brief moment, the little ones stood still.

And then—carried by an invisible joy—life began to dance.

They ran, they jumped, they tumbled through the grass. Tiny paws swirling through the air, soft puppy laughter filling the meadow. Davino watched them at first, calmly, with a look full of pride… and then he joined in.

Gentle, careful, he became part of their play. He didn’t run wildly, but moved like a calm center around which everything turned. The little ones kept returning to him, nudging him, hiding by his side—as if they had never been apart.

And me?

I stood there, my heart wide open.

It was one of those rare moments when you feel: everything is exactly as it should be. Past, present, future—woven together in a single breath of time.

The father.

The children.

And me, right in the middle of it all.

The sun slowly sank lower, wrapping us in warm, golden light. The meadow grew quieter, the play softer. Small bodies nestled into the grass, tired and happy.

Davino stayed a little while longer.

One last gentle look.

One last loving touch.

And in that moment, I knew:

This bond… it will last forever. 💛
