My sister Zelenia vom Donauvillino has had her third litter/

Sometimes joy and sorrow lie so close together that the heart hardly knows where to turn first. That’s exactly how it was for our little pack at the beginning of November.

Just four days after our beloved Bluna crossed the Rainbow Bridge and a quiet sadness settled over the Dorfschloss, something wonderful happened:
My sister Zelenia – our Leni – gave birth to five healthy, beautiful puppies on November 2nd, 2025.
Two little boys and three delicate girls… five new lives, five new hearts beating, five tiny miracles.

The birth took place in Uttenweiler, at our breeder Anni’s home. My human, Karin, Martin, and of course Anni herself were right at Leni’s side. Later they told me how calm, strong, and devoted Leni had been – how naturally she grew into her role as a mother. Everything began early in the morning at 9:18 a.m., and by 11:41 a.m. the whelping box was filled with warm life, soft squeaks, and the gentle scent of new beginnings. A celebration of joy, a day full of small breaths and great emotion.

I wasn’t there myself. I had to stay at home in the Dorfschloss, keeping the pack together, feeling the hearts of my humans and offering comfort – because Bluna’s place was suddenly, painfully empty.
But perhaps it was meant to be that way.
While I kept watch over the Dorfschloss and tried to bring a bit of warmth into the silence, Leni brought new light into the world. It is comforting to know that at the very moment a piece of our heart left us, five new hearts began to beat.

They told me that Leni “did such an amazing job” – calm, gentle, and full of care. And even though I wasn’t there, I can see her before me: her soft eyes, her attentive posture, her quiet strength. She is my sister… and I am so very proud of her.

From sadness came hope. From farewell came arrival. And from silence came new life.

Bluna is watching from above now – I’m sure of it – and five little souls will carry her light forward.
