It was a quiet winter day at Moseldorfschloss

I, Zoë vom Donauvillino, love these days – the calm, the glistening snow, and above all, the time with my little Amara vom Moseldorfschloss. Under the old cherry tree in the shade garden, a thin layer of snow covered the ground, and Amara seemed utterly fascinated by it.

I watched her as she carefully placed her paws on the frosty ground. She sniffed at a small patch of snow and then jumped back, surprised by the cold. With a wag of my tail, I reassured her that everything was fine. She’s so young, born only in September, and now she’s experiencing her first winter – everything is new to her, and I’m thrilled to show her this world.

Sometimes, I think of Akia and Anco-Filou. They’re with their new families now, and I know they’re happy there. Akia hasn’t seen snow yet, but I can easily imagine her running across the big meadow she has already explored with all her energy. She loves discovering the world, and that fills me with pride.

Anco-Filou, on the other hand, has already had his first snowy adventure. I can picture him in my mind, frolicking through the white landscape, chasing snowballs, and throwing himself joyfully into the snow. His new owners have told me how much he enjoys it – just as I had hoped for him

Amara finally came back to me, tired from her explorations in the shade garden. She snuggled up against me, and I gently licked her ears. Together, we looked up at the sky, where the sun slowly emerged from behind the clouds, bathing everything in golden light.

Even though Akia and Anco-Filou are now in different places, they are always in my heart. And here, with Amara by my side, I know we’ll share our own special moments. Whether it’s snow, meadow, or shade garden – my puppies are discovering the world with joy, and that is the greatest happiness for me.

Until next time,
