My Children Are Off on Their Travels 🌊🐾☀️

Hello, my dears,
it’s me again, Zoë vom Donauvillino.

Sometimes, I have to tell you, life can feel just a tiny bit unfair.
My children are off on holiday – and me?
I got to stay behind and look after our home together with my sister Leni – Zelenia vom Donauvillino! Well, it really wasn’t so bad. Leni and I get along wonderfully. But when you see all the places the others are visiting, surely a Coton mum is allowed to feel just a teeny-tiny bit jealous, isn’t she? 😉 Amara Goes Exploring 🐾🏰
My daughter Amara vom Moseldorfschloss was travelling with our human – and the two of them had quite a few adventures planned.
First, they visited the beautiful Federsee. Nature, water, wide-open spaces and exciting scents everywhere – just perfect for a curious little Coton lady.
Then the fairytale-like Lichtenstein Castle was waiting for them. Perched high above the landscape, it looks as though it has come straight out of a storybook.
And right in the middle of it all was my Amara!
I’m quite sure that when she saw the castle, she thought:
“Mum… this would actually go rather nicely with our Moseldorfschloss!” 👑
They also explored a nearby cave, and of course a visit to beautiful Bad Tölz was not to be missed.
But then Amara’s journey became very special:
It was time to visit family! ❤️
In Uttenweiler, Amara and our human visited some of our close relatives. There, my daughter got to see her great-grandmother Ivori vom Donauvillino again.
What a special encounter!
A gentle sniff, a glance, a familiar scent – sometimes that is all it takes to know:
We belong together.
The journey continued to Aichach, where Amara visited her great-uncle Indro vom Donauvillino with the Stadlmeyr family.

Naturally, there was plenty of sniffing, greeting and chatting – and I’m sure the humans spent a great deal of time talking about us Cotons. After all, what other subject could possibly be as important? 😂
Akia Enjoys Summer in Croatia 🌊☀️
My firstborn daughter Akia had chosen a very different holiday destination with her humans.
She was off to the beautiful Croatian coast near Zadar.
Sunshine, sea and warm summer air – Akia clearly knows exactly how a proper summer holiday should be enjoyed.
And then she even got to experience something rather special:
a solar eclipse! 🌒
Of course, my daughter didn’t look directly at the sun. Madame had forgotten her eclipse glasses! 😂
So she sensibly turned away – safety first!
Afterwards, Akia did exactly the right thing: she settled comfortably into her sun lounger beneath the protective shade.
I can picture her perfectly – stretched out, the sea breeze around her nose and probably wearing that unmistakable look that said:
“Right, solar eclipse done. Now I’d like to get back to my holiday, please.” 😎🐾
She definitely gets that from her mum!
Anco-Filou – Just Give Me the Sea! 🌊🐾
My son Anco-Filou travelled with his humans to Kühlungsborn on the Baltic Sea.
And with him, you really only need one word:
Sea!
Anco-Filou absolutely loves the water.
The moment he sees the first waves, there’s no holding him back. Into the sea he goes – paws wet, coat wet, wind around his nose – and my boy is simply:
sooooooo happy! ❤️
You only have to look at him to know that, at that very moment, his world is absolutely perfect.
After a long walk and plenty of fun in the water, however, even Anco-Filou was ready for a little break.
Along the seaside promenade, he quickly discovered a spot that apparently met all his requirements.
Lie down, watch the people go by, breathe in the sea air and simply enjoy life.
And perhaps something tasty might accidentally fall to the ground nearby…
One should never give up hope, after all. 😂
That’s how a Coton does a holiday!
And Leni and Me? ❤️🐾
While my children were away on their travels, Leni and I made the most of our time together.
We wandered through our garden, lifted our noses into the breeze and, of course, carefully inspected every picture that arrived.
Amara surrounded by castles, nature and our relatives.
Akia completely relaxed beneath the Croatian sun.
And Anco-Filou happily splashing through the waves of the Baltic Sea.
A mum is allowed to feel a little proud at moments like these.
Each of my three children experiences the world in their own special way: Amara curious and full of a spirit of discovery, Akia wonderfully relaxed, and Anco-Filou bursting with joy and enthusiasm.
And Leni and me?
We’ve decided that we’ve looked after things at home for long enough.
So we have just one little request for the next trip:
When the suitcases come out again, please make sure there are two places reserved for Leni and me! 😂🐾🌊❤️
See you soon, my dears.
